I love to play it just about anywhere, but my favorite place to play is in the bathroom while I'm sitting on the can.

Ah yes, the ultimate captive audience. The lighting is pretty good in there too, usually.

Plane rides are always a good place. Especially for those East Coast to West coast trips. Thank god for the 40 battery life!!

I play NGPC when I'm sprawled out on the couch. Very relaxing, especially playing some Bust-A-MOve. But now that I have a real neo geo, I don't seem to be playing it as much.

Odd.

Lying on my back on my bed, either that or playing head-to-head with my friend.

In my recliner with the shades open or in front of my computer. The lighting in my computer room is good for it.

A candy cab in your bathroom? you are a sick man.

Chillin` on the bed wjilst having a game (need to get a new battery, god damn!) Think I`ll try to go down to the side of the local Kyoto river and see if it`s comfortable or not ("if you don`t try, you never know" as they say wink !)

I play my NGPC only indoors or inside of a friend's car or a taxi that I have for solo..here's why: I was on the bus headed to evening class last semester when i decided for the first time EVER to bring a portable outside the crib. I had just picked up SNK vs
Capcom from the post office and popped it into my NGPC.... and of course, i would sit in a seat that would be surrounded by a bunch of whiney brats begging to play my "GameBoy". One kid actually crawled into my LAP in order
to see what I was playing....I wanted to grab him by his Yu Gi Oh sweater and roll him down the f'n aisle.

Well mine is for my room on the bed and during class in school. But don't you just hate when you have to explain the whole neo-geo ; gameboy difference? People see my NGPC and automaticly say "What kind of GameBoy is it?" or "Can I play your GameBoy?" Then you have to go through the whole process and tell them the difference.. well some of you might not tell them the difference but I do.. very_ang

Mine travels with me wherever I go... The GBA keeps threatening to usurp it in my pocket (especially now in it's SP incarnation) but I still prefer the NGPC...

The tube (London Underground) is really good, the lighting on the District line is perfect - nice flourescent strip right above your head :)

It's also good for killing time in the pub when you're waiting for someone... I can normally find a corner with enough ambient light.

And I do get the whole "What is that thing?" conversation every so often - although not very much on the tube wink and I always take time to explain all about it...

I also keep one next to my PC just for testing stuff. And there's one in the lav with MotM installed...

Cheers

I use to have to go through that ordeal so I just started saying, "If you have to ask you don't need to know". Worked in reverse though cause then they just had to know, damn people

Yea I don't get it. I feel like I'm the only one who absolutely HATES it when their handheld screen is smudged. Most people grab them by the screen and use their own hands or shirt to "clean" the screen. All they do is make the smudge harder to remove or make a scratch. This is why I have lint-free cleaning wipes. Peg me with OCD, I don't care. I like to be playing a game while not having to stare through a scratched up screen. I mean, really, would you do that to your TV?
