Super Real Mahjong

I got this game not knowing anything about it except it was a hentai game. Hell, I didn't even know how to say "mahjong," much less play it. The reason I got it was because I never played a hentai game and the graphics looked truly amazing. I wanted to see it on the beautiful NGPC screen. So, I took a chance and bought it.

After 2 days of non-stop playing, I have to say SRM FUCKING ROCKS!!! Holy shit, what a gem! Where do I start with its greatness? Graphics...the BEST on the NGPC. Rich, colorful, sharp, and detailed. There's even some animated parts. Sound; wonderful, catchy, addictive music, and there's speech. Gameplay...mmm mahjong is a addictive game. After getting a translation FAQ and briefly looking up mahjong on Google, I got the gist of it. Man, it's so addicitve it should be banned. I spent 5 hours one night, got up the next day, and started playing again.

So, the basic foundation is rock-solid. You're probably wondering about the girls. Very well-designed girls. All of them are hotties with a cute face, gorgeous body, and personality. My faves are Akira and Etsuko. Anyway, the hentai scenes are more "fanservice" than anything. the most you see is their breasts. Everything is tastefully done, i.e. no tentacles or dick girls. There's also ALOT to unlock in this game. Animations, pics, hidden character, etc. It's longer than most console games!

VERDICT: Buy it! It's worth every penny it fetches. Looks great in your NGPC collection and the game is probably one of the best for the system. buttrock

I tried playing..mahjong is hard..the girls are too good, and the mahjong dictionary is all in japanese...I was more impressed by mahjong anywhere...but I guess if you want a soft core hentai game, I guess it fits the bill.

I guess this will make Super Real Mahjong the other Japanese only game that I should try to start writing a FAQ for. These girls in Super Real Mahjong really do have good heads on their shoulders, I found myself going up against some of the best Mahjong players I have ever encountered before in my life.

Yeah, those girls are pretty ruthless; I had to lower the difficulty to stand a chance. A translation FAQ!? Please, that would be great! Maybe on the dialogue too. I really wonder what they're saying all the time. For example, when I beat Etsuko for the fourth time, she took off her bra and started praying at me. What? eek_2

Heh heh, after I came back from Japan last summer, I managed to have enough Japanese to understand the story and the dialogue, go me ^_^ That thing when Etsuko falls down to her knees is she begging you to keep it a secret, because she's embarassed she played strip Mahjong and lost, now has to strip down to her bare skin.

My god I love hentai games.

Translation FAQ would be good. That way we can see the boobies and actually know what we are doing

Yeah the game is cool, I 100% finished not that long ago.

Yeah, it's one of those games that I didn't really expect to like but ended up enjoying immensely. (Bit like Pocket Reversi in that sense - although that's *still* not worth $300 of my money...)

I'll admit that the hentai stuff didn't exactly do much for me (I just found it annoying and turned it off in the end) - although the animation effects were pretty impressive given the hardware limits on the NGPC. Maybe it's more interesting if you can follow the plot, but for my feeble Japanese language skills...

But the gameplay. Rocks. There was about 3 months when I played almost nothing else on the NGPC. Happy days

I have always wanted to play this game. What is it like?

It's like having sex...just kidding, it's very addictive; have you ever played mahjong? Well, it's mahjong with expert opponents who happen to be hotties who take off an article of clothing every time you win a round. Win 4 and they'll show you all their busty glory. TONS of extras to unlock, and presentation is top-notch. BTW I think this game was developed by SNK; Seta's role was only in giving SNK the rights to use the characters. No wonder it plays so well!

Except the last girl is ripped off from a different and older game series than the other's were.

So it doesn't match the art style or direction of the others.

Hardly. I see it going for around $50 to $60, so just bide your time and when the time is ripe you should be able to snag it.

Okay. Hey, how come Pocket Reversi is so expensive? Is it like Othello? I would buy the game, but not for more than $10. Is there a USA version for cheaper? Like $10?

I agree, although $10 won't get you much of anything in NGPC terms. Better up your estimates to $20 or so...

Yes there is. Get the Cart-only version that is currently being touted on Ebay as RIVERSI. About $15-$25 IIRC.
