Genesis Fighter Stick SG-6

I had a quick question. Does anyone know if it's easy/possible to replace the buttons with higher quality ones on this stick? I enjoy it, but I'd like to make some modifications.

If you want to use arcade buttons you would have to take everything out plus I don't know if it's deep enough.

Yeah, I would say your best bet is to salvage the PCB and make a project box. You could wire it to a hrap or a custom stick and have it be multisystem. I am planning on doing something similar with my hori fighting stick for the saturn, by wiring it to a ps2 HRAP.
