Coming Soon: SNKvsCap.com

Video game consoles are like football leagues. If it starts with "X", it's going to flop.

Actually, there were American NGPC games available in hardcase back at launch. I have U.S. hardcase copies of the following titles

1. Metal Slug
2. Fatal Fury: First Contact
3. KOF: R-2
4. Bust-A-Move Pocket (Since the game is titled Puzzle Bobble in all other regions, seems like the hardcase of this one is actually kind of rare.)
5.All those damn Poker and BlackJack games whose names I can never remember unless I am looking at them.

I think there are a few others, I will post later when I have a chance to check my collection.

MS 1 is also avaible in a Japanese Best Collection Rerelease as far as I know. I think there are USA-clamshellgames, they are a bit like the early eurogames. There are some euro-games with 3 manuals which are really hard to find. I remember that in the Netherlands I saw much more 'Asian'-copies of certain games than 'Euro'copies

Five other American hardcase games available at launch and for a short while thereafter: BaseBall Stars, NeoGeo Cup '98, Neo Turf Masters, Crush Roller, and Neo Pocket Tennis (or whatever it is called).

I do not know what the front of the Euro cover looks like, but my SSII is a U.S. copy I got at launch. Does not have all the age appropriateness tags printed on the back like the Euro and Asian ones.
