Good question.

I believe that they will eventually fall inbetween the aes prices and the mvs prices.

The systems should be widely availible. Most carts will probably come out with the mvs prices, however some of those "rare?" jap carts might see the aes prices.

Well I think they will be hard to find then but not impossible. a few games might stay around the !00-150 range but little more I think, just my opinion though.

Most defenetly some titles like Metal Slug 2,Evolution,Faselei and Last Blade will go up in price dramaticaly. But I don't know about the other titles. Think it won't go up that much. And meaby less people will be interested in the NGPC since the GBA is already out 32 vs 16 bit. And over 5 years..who knows what handheld machine is out then. There might be a few people trough who still want the NGPC. But if you look at the Game Gear, it was pretty much of pricy back then but now you can get games new for $8. But I think the NGPC prices will go up not down.

I think the NGP will go down in value in 5 years. IN 5 years it's possible to run an arcade perfect conversion of MS on your handheld and noone gives a damn about the pocket at all.

historically I can not think of any handheld system that brought high dollar except for maybe that turbo GT or whatever.. With the pocket it was pretty much mass released. Some of the games are rare like the english evoultion and Faseli. And with the send back of the titles for redistrubution (whatever happen to them anyway) I am not sure how many were released.

But in 5 years.... Hard to say. there are diffently some good games on the system to make it desirable and as long as they are not ported over to another system with the NGPC being the only way to play them they may see a raise in value. But As I said before, Historicaly I can not think of any expensive handhelds.

Hey I have and Atari "touch me" handheld is that worth anything

Remember how the carts are all flash rom style and very easy to copy/re-copy/reuse?

They were all sent back to SNK of Japan, the US packaging for each one was discarded and the games were erased, the blank cartrdidges were then reused for newer Japanese NGPC titles and repackaged to be released in Japan. All those US games that were sent back are just GONE, it sucks.

Yeah I remember hearing that also about recycling the carts. Seems like a lot of work and a waste of materials to save a few bucks. but I also notice places like http://www.vgstore.com/ that are selling the US games in what seems to be large quantities. So I am not sure all of the games were recycled.

jeez $80 bucks for the japanes version of faselei? Glad I got the english version cheap when it came out last year. I could never play this game in Japanese.
