A warning to U.K NGPC owners!

O.K peeps, I imagine that a lot of you have noticed the sudden availability of "Worm lights" for the NGPC??
Well I bought two yesterday, and I just wanted to warn anyone else against buying them! They are absolute shite!
What it doesent tell you on the packaging, is that the bulb is RED! like a little christmas tree light! Totally fucking useless! it doesent provide any illumination at all. One of the two I bought doesent even work at all!
For purposes of identification, these come on a small blister pack, with "NEO LIGHT 3" written on it! You will recognise them because the "E" in neo looks like a Pac-Man but blue. Aviod them at all costs!

There are some Worm Lights that were released right around the so-called "death" of the NGPC in the U.S., but I do not believe these had red lights in them. I will double-check today. Can you give us a brand name?

Go for the "worm lights" made by Blaze, these are white bulbs and with a magnifer glass built in,really worth owning and on some of the games Metal Slug,all the fighter,and puzzle games a real must have!!!!

The brand name for these crappola lights is "XG" But wait, it gets worse! If you use the light with one of the more advanced games, like Gal Fighters or MOTM, the light goes really dim, like an old L.E.D Unelieveable! I've got one of the "Power worm lights" from NYKO and they are O.K, bit bulky, but at least you can use the port for two player games, and they dont go dim!

O.K., NYKO are the ones that were released around the death of the NGPC stateside. Just wanted to check on that. Thanks, Metal Slug.

Yeah, NYKO put out the US NGPC worm lights right around its US demise, and they put out the awesome Shock N' Rock about a month before that. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

Overally I think NYKO is the best 3rd party when it comes to making accessories, lights, etc. for systems, I was extremely satisfied with their NGPC worm light. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
