It is a fighter, not a platformer, but the port is very good from the arcade version. Definitely worth picking up.

Don't you guys feel bored to play so many SNK fighting games? I'd rather to play 2d platform game.....action games like ghouls and ghosts or Castlevania.
Tired of just fight, fight fight.......

Silent - that's a good question.

about 2 years ago, I couldn't even touch a fighting game.

Then boom! suddenly I started playing every fighting game I could get my hands on.

It didn't matter what flavor it was - rehash or whatever - I had to play it.

Some kind of strange craving I guess.

I own Rockman: Battle and Fighters for Neo Geo Pocket color as well. It's decent, I guess. My problem with it is, and this goes for the arcade games as well, it's just a bit too easy for me. See, you fight the bosses from the Megaman games using Megaman, Protoman, Bass, and Duo (from Megaman 8) and that's it. There's no levels you go through to make it to them..you just fight the bosses, then Dr. Wily. It's good, but at the same time, kind of disapointing....especially for me because I really like the Megaman games and the challenge they have. On the upside, it does have a really good music sound track and the voices on the game are very clear and easy to understand.

Woah, I also have a fascination of fighting games. I tried to get all the good ones for all the systems. The Saturn and Dreamcast are one of the best platforms for the 2D ones. PS is excellent for 3D ones like Tekken, the series that renewed my interest in fighters since Street Fighter II. I was then into 3D only, but now I'm into 2D thanks to SNK. KoF DM on Dreamcast exposed me to this wonderful company and enabled me to start on the Neo Geo. Now I'm proud to say that I own GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES!!!!! Yaaaaahooooo.
