Hi guys,

I try to do a new cmvs, I'll use a mv2F and I've read the awsome and clear Jamma Nation's tutorial, but I have a big doubt, since it is my first time that I'll try to do the components video output, Is it necessary an encoder? or can you take the RGB signal directly from the board to the jacks??

Thank you very much in advance.

Saludos

Component video is Y-Pb-Pr color difference video, just because the jacks are red/green/blue does not mean they carry a RGB signal :) So you do need an encoder.

Since you are in Spain, if you have a SCART TV that takes RGB, you could use that input directly with RGB from the board, and not need to encode the signal.

Hi,

Thanks XX, I knew that, my question was because a friend asked me if I could do it, since as DanAdamKOF commented above we're in Spain and usually we do the RGB to scart mod.

Thanks again dudes

Saludos

PD: Just now I'm finished to read more in depth the JNX tutorial and I'm wondering where XX has left the led??:scratch::scratch:

XX sorry for the joke, please don't get ungry with me :D :D :D :D :D :D
