I was hoping someone with more smarts than I could tell me what this wire was being used for that is under this six slot board:help:

I recently purchased it off a member here and unfortunately the wire came loose during shipping. I don't have any real means to test it out at the moment. I am guessing that it has something to do with the stereo sound as it is connected near the volume slider.
Also can anyone tell me where the other end should be re-soldered. I'm guessing its the joint that I put a red circle around as that's where the scratched out trace is leading to. But it also looks like it could connect to the blue or yellow one as well. I don't know....I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff:conf:

Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

Looks like the white wire has to be connected to the red-circled solder joint.

I was thinking that as well. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks.
I am hoping someone has some insight on what the bypass repairs exactly.
