Some MVS questions. Is it possible to mod a Japanese 4 slot to have region switching capabilities(Perhaps being able to switch to home system mode as well)? Also do any MVS boards have A/V out, or is it possible to mod the Jamma harness to output to the monitor and to RCA/RGB or something at the same time?

For the region issue just buy one of Razoolas Universal bios chips and install it , it has an AES mode as well and a cheat system.

Sounds like you want to build a Super Gun to me ? thats easy enough all you really need is an RGB converter. see Jhendrix's site for good info on that ,look in the neogeo home mvs section

Aha. Thanks for those links, two sites I had not seen before... HardMVS doesn't exactly have the info I needed. I am thinking of buying a Candy cab in the next week or two and getting a Japanese 4 slot with it, but I just wanted to know if later on I get sick of having to play with Japanese text or would like to open training modes or what not that I could modify it.
Well the way a Neo MVS board works is .... the bios determines the language displayed on the screen , there is no teratorial lockout game wise ,just language wise {meaning a japanese bios board will be in japanese ,us in english etc ,etc} any MVS cart will work in any MVS board {generally ,some newer games are having issues, see the rotd threads for example} thats why I said look to the uni bios for what you want region wise.
none of the MVS boards have any typr of AV out other than jamma or mvs output. Take a look here for even more info on the RGB thing
