This forum is stale

Its getting stale dont you think? I mean all anyone talks about is "whats your serial?" or "Im a n00b what games should I get?" We need to jump start this forum. I dunno how. We just need to do it.

Yeah. Plus there isnt much to talk about. Few games were made and most of the poeple here are real new so the conversation gets real repetative.

I don't think it would be going stale because of no new games, because there haven't any new games in a long time. I think it's going stale because we have run out of things to talk about. The NGPC only has a few games out for it, and with a few exceptions, they are all pretty srtaightforward games that are simple to understand. I love my NGPC and every game I have for it, but what is there to say about them than that? I don't know what we need to do to jump start it. Send everyone out on a mission. Talk to one stranger you see looking at video games in a store, bust out your NGPC and show it to them, and them come back here and post what happenned. Granted I could never do that kind of thing, because I don't have that kind of personality. But I think it will take something extreme to bring the Neo Pocket forum back to life. We don't have wiring harnesses, and 4-slot boards, and dip switches to worry about programming, and it isnt too hard to find pocket games yet, so we don't have that to talk about either. I don't know what the solution is, but I will never stop loving my little stone blue baby.

well, the homebrew scene is kinda active... maybe we can talk about that.

Good games have been released recently. The Mr Do! port is kinda cool. Dodger is addictive. The Chess game will rock when it's done.

i rarely visit here anymore because
its all the same questions and ramblin's
i was hoping the homebrew front would pick up.
or at least some of the personal projects that
some of the members here were doing.
like making cfc cards to print out and use as a
game. i mean its true.
its only as dull as you make it.
i think i ll try to learn how to make this pocket
linker thing work one day and dl some of the
homebrew stuff.
still need to get the cable for it...
