I'd be so sad to part with all that.

Seller only brought their evolution a month ago...

Think this auction will get pulled?

He has a nice collection indeed, with some very rare games and expensive ones too... Only thing is he didn't listed if they are all UK, the picture shows allot of UK games but Cool Boarders seems to be Japanese, there might be some Asian versions too. If you buy that you got the UK collection almost complete, hmmmm

Hmmm, yeah there is definatley something funny going on!
The photos have been cut down and clipped together!
A lot more work than just laying them out and taking a photo for sure!
He says they are all English Clam cased versions, but Biomotor, Cool Boarders and Pacman, dont have the right covers??
Like Cho says, there are some foreign versions in amonst them for sure!

Weird!

That Cool Boarders is definitely Japanese, the Orange trim at the bottom of the manual also suggests that it is not clam cased, as that was a design feature of the Japanese card boxes.

The seller has also included no payment details or delivery charges, as well as omitting the usual "only bid if..." statement.

I think someone is trying to value their collection...

I bet it is smoeones mom selling her sons collection when he went to college or something. Because I sure as hell wouldnt part with that. At least not until the NGPC started bringing in more cash.

I dont think those are pics of the actual games being auctioned. He does say "33 ENGLISH GLAM SHELL CASE GAMES" (GLAM ? - like gary glitter ? yikes!). A nice auction no doubt about it, the biggest UK NGPC auction I've seen. My conservative estimate if you bought all the bits seperately would be about £800, I would have a reserve of £750 on this for sure. And if you factor that UK games have become a TOTAL pain in the ass to find ....

Hmmm, its difficult to judge, the original RRP is over £900. And thats not taking into account the fact that some titles are rare, and never sold for less than £40!
But he's shot himself in the foot by having a description that dosent match the pictures!
It makes you wonder what you'd get if you won it!
I think that Moog is right and he's just testing the market!
Which if so, he's at least a year to early!
The NGPC is in a lull at the moment.

Tell you what, I wouldnt sell my collection for five times what his auction is up to!

As NeoGoat said, its already a pain to get some games!

In a few years, when the BigTymers get into collecting NGPC, then perhaps I'd part with mine!
But only for a totally stupid price!

lol, good one. Well that defenetly makes Cool Boarders japanese (either way, the box and manual almost look the same) The pictures arent bright enough to actually see if there are some asian versions. He should've listed it more clearly. He says there all clam shell cased... Cool Boarders for one obviously is't.

Hello everyone,

Im the Guy Who's WAS selling my NGP collection on ebay, I haven't got a digital Camera so I clipped the pictures from various Web sites of the games I have. All my games are English MINT copies.

Thanks to an Email from ONEMOREDIME I think I'll hang to my collection for another year or so. My Reserve price was £900 and I would have been very sad to let my collection go.

I do have a question for you lot, I hope you can answer it? My copy of Dynamite Slugger has a Spelling Mistake on the Spine of the case it is spelt "DYNAMITE SLUGGEAR" this must be rare????

My girlfriend is bringing her digital camera home from work, so i'll take a picture of my collection and the spelling mistake on the cartridge case.

thank you

Mark

The more time that passes, the more difficult it will be to get a complete collection of NGPC games!

When the NGPC becomes collectable, there will not be enough of the rare games to go around!

Then you'll get some REAL cash for your collection!

10,000 copies of Faselei!
Half a million NGPCs sold in the EU/US!

Gonna be rarer than rocking horse shit in a few years!

Getting 33 is quite an achievement, even now!
Imagine how hard it will be in a year or two?

Every time you say that, I'm thinking about getting the games before its too late... Hmm Faselei! It probably is a good plan to get the rare games for the decent prices 50 pounds + like Cotton,Dynamite Sluggear,Sonic,SNKvCapcom and Faselei UK versions. But then again, I'm not really into collecting. Then again... I could sell my Japanese or US versions and add some money to get the UK ones...

Btw, nice to hear that your keeping your collection. Its a very nice collection, hope youll enjoy it even more now since you've decided to keep it. Youre missing one great game tough IMO, Rockman Battle and Fighters! Its a great game, and way different then other fighting games. www.toysnjoys.com has a copy of it, but not too cheap... It would at a great game to your collection tough. And ofcource Ganbare Neo Poke Kun :D
