Bought my first NGPC last weekend on a swedish auction site for $40 or so...

What games do you think i should get???

Fighter: Match of the Millenium or Last Blade
RPG: Dark Arms
Puzzle: Delta Warp or Puzzle Link 2
Sports: Pocket Tennis (but kinda simple)
Action: Metal Slug 2 or Sonic
Weird: Neo Ganbare Poke-Kun

Those are the ones that really stick out in my head as of now..

yeah i guess ms series is a must...cant you hold snk vs. capcom match of the millennium for a week or so? wink must check my economy...

Besides the bare basics such as MOTM and MS1 or 2 (oo and LB), i must stress one of the puzzle link games, or magical drop (magical drop POCKET kicks you square in the eyes after awhile, but is also a very nice choice)

Card Fighters Clash. Either version. You must own this game.

Everything else is secondary - yes, even Metal Slug...

Actually, the Pokemon TCG on gameboy color is LOADS better than CFC. They don't even really compare.

It is true that CFC is kinda a Pokeman Card Battle rip off...

Anyway, CFC 2 is better than CFC 1 when it comes to battle and strategy...

I have never played the Pokemon TCG, but I did watch friends play the game and they said they thought it was a decent game, but it was grossly unbalanced and they hated the coin flipping aspect. Still, it's hard to say Card Fighters Clash is a rip off of Pokemon TCG, because all TCGs derive their basic game mechanics from the 'bible of TCG'.
