Petition

Since no one else has written it, I figured I would. Here is the brief text from the petition. Which is ready to be posted whenever you guys are.

Dear Playmore,
An often overlooked part of the Neo-Geo community is the supporters of the Neo Geo Pocket Color. What you are reading is a petition for the release of new games which we undertand were close to completion before the NGPC was abandoned. The games we have in mind are King Of Fighters R-3, and Ikari Warriors. We know it is a large think to ask, but we are also sure that these new releases would not only sell very well but also rekindle interest in the system. Thank you for taking the time to read our request.

Sincerely,
Joseph Paine (along with the support of the NGPC community)

Tell me what you think. Should I start the petition now?

I love the Neo Pocket like crazy.... But I have to say no. The GameBoy Advance owns the whole Handheld market. Nothing will change that. If Playmore released those games, they'd do it at a loss....and they need all the money they can get. I'd love to see them as well as you mate, but its not gonna happen :(

I think that they should think about it, but possibly as a multicart, as this could maximise profits to cost of production.

Well I don't have much hope for this to succeed, but it's definitely worth a try. *signs petition* :)

You guys couldn't even wait one night, that's what ;) I was working, had deadlines to meet.

But ho-hum, I don't mind! All is well that ends well, and Joseph has written a fine petition :)

And Playmore would be tempted to release the carts IF we get enough signatures...5000 people is enough to warrant a limited release. We'd probably have to pay a LOT more than usual, but I know I'd be willing. Here's hoping!

We have 15 sigs now, and I posted at ON.com also. Any ideas on where else to post and how else to boost the sig count? We have to work on this pretty hard or it wont happen.

Excellent idea, if anyone else has a NGPC site, it would be greatly appreciated if they add the link to their site. :D

signature number 21

i realized the fact that i've sold all my ngpc stuff, but if they (playmore) DID relased these games we're asking, there would be no doubt that i'll come back to the NGPC scene again...

please, playmore, do it for us!!! :D

It is a long shot yes, but I think it's not unrealistic to feel positive about it.
