Doh listed in the wrong forum, can we move to discussion?

So I want to do a non Jamma Genesis to Arcade mod. I figured the fastest/easiest way to do it would be to run the RGB monitor harness directly to the Genesis PCB.

Though I have found numerous AV output pinouts all of them say the numbering does not reflect the actual numbering.

Does anyone know where I can find a Genesis 2 schematic or does anyone know the PCB locations/numbering for the Red, Blue, Green, and Video Sync?

Also since this is a composite output I am guessing I will need to jump/splice the existing composite sync to the horizontal and vertical neg on the monitor?

Thanks

There are a few places with this info. A really easy mod...

Have you thought of just wiring the RGB straight out of the DIN to the Fingerboard.

You will not need a Sync splitter as it is already separated form the Composite Video.
But you will need to perform pad hacks as the MD has an encoder...

Good luck... :)
