You'd think the follow up to R2 would be based on 99, but the pocket variation took so long to appear...
I think they were going to call it 2000 to ride the marketing wave from the big version. Who knows?
It is weird how the development of SNKs big series seemed to slow on the NGPC at a fairly early stage. I would have expected to see another Fatal Fury and Samurai Shodown too. We got so damn unlucky. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

It would have been nice to see some more games for the NGPC, especially a new KOF game. Kinda sucks but not much you can do about it

We have to be united and say to playmore that we need games! Or at least finished protos!
By the way, if AES home market is still running, why not Pocket one too?

I suppose AES games dont require much additional coding, while NGPC games need building from the ground up. They can take the MVS game, change the cart design, shove it in some packaging and Bob, he is your uncle. Costs next to no money at all and doesn't waste precious human resources.
But they COULD finish the games they started and give them limited mail-order only releases. Or just sell the unfinished games. I know us lot would buy a half-finished KOF R3 <img src="graemlins/drool.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool]" />
But lets face, this will never happen...not in a month of Sundays...

But if they wont make a penny with keeping the betas somewhere in a hidden dungeon,why not release the roms?I`m sure EVERY NGPC-fan would love to play Ikari Warriors,KoF r-3,Magician Lord,MotM2,etc. , even if the aren`t finished!
(And yes,MotM2 was officially canned,but never announced.It was canned in an interview of snk usa`s president with ignpocket)

Yeah! Some charitable Playmore employee should sneek the ROMS on-line. We've seen it happen before with Sega games, so why not Playmore/SNK? If only someone had the contacts to make it happen...
At least i tried it.If i get no answer,maybe someone with better connections(Shawn?)should ask them about releasing at least the roms.They couldn`t ignore the only distributor of neogeo games in the usa..
