Japanese Aes Boot Menu

I recently got my Japanese AES sysyem, and I wanted to test the controllers that I have for my Neo CD. I held down all of the buttons when I powered up the system and 6 options came up. I can't read Japanese, and randomly hitting buttons got me nowhere. I just want to know what the options say and how to test my controllers. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!

yes i have a jap aes and this would be helpful for me too. anyone know where I/we could find this information?

Hmmm... that was interesting, I never new a Neo did that when you powered it up...

Anyhow, here's what it says:

MEMORY CARD UTILITY
1) FORMAT CARD
2) CREATE/CHANGE NAME FOR DATA
3) COPY DATA
4) ERASE DATA
5) CREATE/CHANGE USER NAME
6) EXIT

now try holding down all four buttons on the other controller while turning on the machine.
