Did it say "US Patent Pending" on the cart?

Upper left corner: Neop00901
Sacnoth 1999, 2000

Lower Left:
Patents Pending; U.S. Patent DES. 412,187

Upper right: Made in Japan
ESRB Everyone
Lower Right: NeoGeo Pocket logo?

Thanks,

Hmmm do you mean the US cart?

I believe with the serial ending in 1 and a ESRB you mean US but I don't know the answer to your question.

As for worth keeping it seems lots of people like it, I'm working on getting this and a US Last Blade for collection completion sake and the coolness of having unreleased games.

Is it true the boxes and manuals got trashed, like that guy says on the ebay auction ?

I was just assuming they had not been produced at all.

As we understand it, they had never been produced at all. One would imagine if any had actually been produced, someone would have hoarded them before they were recalled away. And if any did happen to surface, one had only ask Playmore to reject its authenticity.

I got a shipment of games from videogamewholesale on eBay today. Here's the breakdown: Faselei! is the US VERSION! It says "Patents Pending" in the lower left corner.
The Last Blade, Gals Fighters, Picture Puzzle, and Pocket Reversi are all English versions that they are selling.

So, buy up the Faselei! Seems (based on e-mail from them) that videogamewholesale got about 30 or so Gals Fighters, not sure about the rest.

BTW, it seems that the appearance of Pocket Reversi UK without packaging implies that the games were all sent back to the factory and the destruction process begun on the boxes, but not the cartridges ( makes sense since that was the expensive part....)

So Pocket Reversi UK WITH PACKAGING is very rare, but the game a bit less so. (Still saying that there is maybe 500 produced, and about 100 still exist)

But if the games were shipped out with box and manual to selling stores I don't believe, that noone kept at least one copy for himself ... spock

Watching for it eye eye

Well, we still have yet to see another complete Pocket Reversi UK since MarkieMark's auction. Maybe people "collected" them and that's why we see so few available.

These boxes were not trashed, they were probably reused for the Japanese best -collection ,why do you think that these very late released games had all clam shell....

But wasn't Delta Warp, CFC2, and some other released after the Best series? Those all had cardboard boxes... I think the best of had snaplocks because they were the Best Of...

Delta Warp was released in August 2000
The Best of ...last blade and gal fighters and MOTM had clamshell cases and where released after delta warp...Newer releases such as CFC2,Strip Mahjong and e-cup do have cartboxes....

The question is are early rerelease susch as SS2 and MS1 cartboard or Clamshell....
