Right, built a joystick for my neo geo and wanted to use it on the megadrive, so i built a breakout box from a 6 button megadrive controller and there you go... Job done.. The thing is, i've been playing a fair bit of streetfighter 2 on it and sometimes the controls feel really mushy and unresponsive. It's got me wondering if the cable I used for the joystick originally was too small, and this mushyness is being caused by voltdrop. (It works fine on my neo, but I was wondering if the megadrive is a bit more picky because of the different voltages needed for different functions) Or, if it's just the fact that it's on the megadrive and that's just how the game plays. Unfortunately I don't have another stick to compare it with..

It's the way it plays on the MD. That's why I hated SF on it.

Ah, thought it was, thanks for the confirmation mate. It is indeed Very annoying! but on a positive note, it has actually motivated me to build (and nearly finish) my own cab so I can play streetfighter 2 hyper anniversary, the way it's meant to be played!
