I've been toying around with a lot of deck strategies lately, and what I've come to notice is that Morph and Shadow are just a lot more powerful than I initially realized.
Morph: Target character's BP becomes the same as top card of controller's deck. If it is an AC card, KO that character
Shadow: Target character becomes another character in the game
While they seem like crapshoots, they are not if you combine Morph with a Chun-Li (A) or Cammy, which allows you to take a look at the top cards of an opponent's deck. Especially against Cap, this strategy is simply amazing.
Shadow is a powerful card by itself because there are a lot of characters with 600 or 500 or below BPs, although random, you can almost always turn your opponent's character's 1500 BP into something miniscule. I had to be very unlucky to turn my opponent's Mecha Zangief into a Lucifer, and that almost never happened.

Upshot is, this is a very expensive strategy because Shadow is an S rarity card and Chun-Li (A) can be gotten only from either trade machines or auctions. But, these two AC cards each cost 5 SP, which one can easily muster by dropping Morrigan, Setsuna, Mega Man, Rose, or any number of characters that provide +5 SP. Even without them, 5 SP is easy to come by with any combinations of 2 characters.

Or, you can have 3 Akumas, Yamazakis, and Yashiros to be cheap as hell.

Yup, they are cheap as hell, and that's where my strategy falls in, I can beat that kind of deck.

Man, how come no one wants to trade Card Fighters Clash strategy? Anyways, I've noticed some unusual bugs that I never came across before because I rarely used these strategies, and one of them involve The Ump. Those who've played the game are familiar with the strategies of using Substitute to switch The Ump's ability: (Disable this character's attack and counter-attack)
with your opponent's character's, thereby locking their character and freeing up yours for free punches, but the most unusual bug that SNK didn't stamp out was this: if you had The Ump in play on your side of the ring, and he still has his Mystic ability, you could only attack with one of your characters even if you had two characters in play. This is because if you had The Ump in play, the CPU automatically assumes you can make union attacks. Kind of a bummer, and I've also noticed that the CPU isn't hindered by it, since they can attack separately with two characters not in a Union attack even if they have a 'Mystic'ed character in their side of the ring.
