I'm having my first game nerd party at my house on the 12th of November. I'd like to play some Mario Party, Mario Kart Wii, and some Rock Band 3. I'm open to other stuff, even Cave shooters (I have all of them that are compatible with english 360s), bring your DS/3DS for some ad hoc wifi action too if you wish. I have a DSi XL and DS Lite, but if we want to do 10 player Tetris, we'll need more systems.
I have an extra, smaller open HDTV in the sun room, so if someone brings a 360 or a PS3, they can play it there. I have some HDMI cables I got from monoprice a while back, so just worry about bringing power cables. It only has HDMI, Component, and RF, so no classic systems.
Microcenter and Target are nearby if you need anything, but I should have enough controllers and batteries for everybody.
THere will be plenty of caffeine for everybody, and limited alcohol, so bring your own if you wish to partake. There are plenty of places nearby to eat, such as Boston Market, McDs (24 hours), Subway, Pannekoken, Baja Sol, Chipotle, Dairy Queen, and Uptown is minutes away if you want to drive and feel ambitious. Otherwise, gas stations are within walking distance.
