Japanese Aes Question

If i bought a Japanese AES system and put in English carts would the text be in English or Japanese?????

Quick questions,

Does it make a difference playing games in Japanese? I appreciate RPGs would be nigh on impossible, but what about KOF, Samurai Showdown or Metal Slug (any one of those series'): is their playability affected by not knowing what the text says? Also, what's this about a country switch i.e. if I buy a Japanese AES, could I modify it so that I can switch between regions?

Not being rude mate, but try using the search function - there have been loads of threads about the BIOS chip. There is an FAQ on the site as well, somewhere.

And no, the playability of games is not hamprered by the Japanese text.
