The Japanese one doesn't have english. shamesnkneogeousaCTH:

Are you serious? But my American version plays in Japanese when I switch the internal settings to Japanese. Very interesting information, I wonder if it depends on when the cartridges were released then.Comic-Kaze:

Well, that's the whole reason why UK LB was always one of the expensive carts...people coveted the English. You don't know how much satisfaction there is in unlocking the scrolls and reading all of them.snkneogeousaCTH:
On my last blade - most of it plays in english, maybe not the winlines or story junk, but who cares about those anyway?

Luckily for me, after taking 2 years of Japanese I too can read the stories and winning quotes for my Japanese Best Collection Last Blade, and derive great satisfaction in doing so ^_^Comic-Kaze:

Out of the question, Neo Geo Pocket Color games don't use a backup battery, the Memory Battery in the Neo Geo Pocket Color takes care of that, that's why the recorded data in a Neo Geo Pocket Color won't be erased when the battery goes dead, unlike the Gameboy cartridges. It's all written to the cartridge's flash memory. SNK were smart, they thought of everything ^_^Sonic1787DC:
you could open it and take out the backup battery and put it back in, might need to solder it though...

Smokey in this thread said you can erase it, but I think he was smoking some crack... Super Crack!D-Lite:
So.... that doesn't answer the "How do I erase the flash memory in my Gals Fighters?" question...
Anyone?
Well, Flavor may be the best person to answer this, but if there is no way within the cart itself (and I guess we've established that that's the case here) then the only way I could think of would be by using a Flash Linker to hack into the flash RAM...D-Lite:
