how reliable is Paypal??

hey - im fed up with sending cheques through the post, so am considering using Paypal to buy stuff other Ebay etc.
Just want to know is it any good?
Do people send out stuff ASAP when using it??

People will usually send items out as soon as you pay, or the day after. I've found it to be very reliable, and you have very good buyer protection. I'd definitely reccomend it

I've used it hundreds of times. Very reliable, I have even used to to just send my brother money to avoid any fees that the bank would charge for the same service.

As far as buying with Paypal goes it's fine.

When it comes to selling it's a bit of a pain, because of the fees, but what's new !

Overall, it's much safer than paying by cheque.

I've had a PayPal account for about 3 years and have never once had an issue with them.

The fees are a pain if you're receiving money, but it's not too bad (as long as the person sending you the money doesn't use a credit card). They have to make a profit somehow on each transaction.
