I have a Electrocoin MVS 6 Slot with the Uni-Bios v2.0 installed.

The problem i'm having is that after I was experimenting with the hardware tests and in game options (Like turn blood on for KOF2K3) I noticed this screen on reboot.

I rebooted again and held A+B+C and got this screen.

I rebooted again and held B+C+D which displayed fine:

Does anyone know how to resolve? It's driving me nuts.

Is it easy to install the Uni-Bios V3.0 onto the MV-6F (Just incase the current chip is corrupted)

I figured the issue out myself :-)

I had the following games inserted

1. Top Hunter
2. The King Of Fighters 2003
3. Puzzle Bobble
4. Neo Turf Masters
5. Fatal Fury
6. Super Sidekicks 2

I removed all the games and inserted

1. Fatal Fury
2. Fatal Fury 2
3. Burning Fight
4. Art Of Fighting
5. Super Sidekicks 2 (Still in Japanese though, even though it's a English Cart)
6. Puzzle De Pon

And all works fine now, the main BIOS shows up as it should :-)

That doesn't fix the issue. You replaced some high meg games with low meg ones. The higher meg games use different address lines than the smaller meg ones. That might be where the problem lies. Remove one of the small meg games and throw KOF 2003 in and see how it looks.

I should mention that the six high Meg games did work before I messed around with the settings.

After I changed some settings (turning on blood on KOF) the unibios didn't display correctly but the games did?

Even changing the settings back didn't resolve :S

What's interesting is that Super Sidekicks 2 although being a English cart still boots up in Japanese mode? :S

Clear your backup ram via hard dip 1 hardware test.

Thanks for the response, I just tried it again (without trying anything) and Super Sidekicks 2 is back to normal. Very weird :S

I think maybe the backup ram may have cleared itself maybe?
