Hey, welcome to the boards. I just got here recently also. It's a great little place to visit. Wow, seems like you have quite a collection. I myself have Pac Man, and Metal Slug. Hop you enjoy it here, and welcome to the boards. :)

Why did I get a NGPC? Well, I always wanted one, I'm a big fan of SNK, and the design (especially the joystick and screen) was more appealing than the GBA. Finally, MOTM and Cardfighters Clash...how can I resist!?

Heh, yea I guess I pondered on it on accident.

See, for christmas, I wanted to get Metal Slug X for the PS1, that was the only thing that I really wanted, but none of the stores had it. :( . Anyway, there was a store that I liked to goto because they had old NES games and such, and then to my luck, they had a Neo Geo Pocket and Metal Slug First Mission. So, I got that and Pac Man, and have loved it ever since. multi_co . Now, I have seen that they have even more than Metal Slugs, and now the GBA is non existant. :D

well, i got mine way back in the day, when they were out in the U.S. I was lookin around at a bunch of different things, and decided that this was the system for me. Sadly, after I had it for awhile, the gba was comin out, so I sold my ngpc to get cash for that crying Now, after having the gba for awhile and never playing it, I've decided to get another ngpc, which means I'm sellin my gba stuff, look on the selling boards!

I have yet to find someone who completely dislikes it, it is still my favorite pocket game like... EVER...

Anyways, some people have complained about the animation being not as good as, say, gals fighters (which i can neither confirm nor disprove as i lack gals fighters), that's the only complaint i've ever heard of!

Yeah, the animation is better (by a fair margin too!) in Gals Fighter and the speed is insane; also, the controls are the tightest of any NGPC game. After playing it, MOTM seemed sluggish and KoF R2 seemed jerky as hell. Fantastic game, but overall, I still liked MOTM better.

I was surprised how fast the play is in Gal's Fighter. I think it's more fun that way buttrock
