Is it just me or does something seem wrong with the screen on this one?

I thought it was a dirty cart connection to begin with, but it does it on the calendar screen, so it must be a fault with the screen itself.
I've got a Lynx with a similar problem (Horizontal lines though).

Looks like the brightness is set too high - I don't even know if this is an adjustable setting?

Could it be the ambient lighting in the pictures - looks like he's placed it right under some pretty strong light. Might be worth an email to check...

Cheers

It looks like another case of the reflection of the light above to me.

You guys who think its a reflection are tripping!
Unless the seller took the pictures in a cell with overhead bars!
Its caused by whole columns of pixels not fireing corrrectly.
Sometimes you see black lines on some consoles you see lines in the wrong colours.
The Tiger Game.com, and the Game Boy Classic are particularly suseptible to this problem, although I have seen it with Lynx as well.
If you look at the Calendar screen-shot, you can see a bright reflection on the top of the screen, you can see the 'lines' are not part of it.

Could just be the frequency...... just a thought. More likely a fault though.

Yea,that NGPC looks Shot...
If this was happening with the cart in then I would say dirty cart and fixable..but.
That's in calendar mode with no cart in so something's wrong..
If you think you can fix it then go for it.

Same thing happened with my LCD screen for my laptop. Needed to be replaced.

yeah, definitely the screen... maybe it could be fixed by adjusting the contrast with that screw on the back (but only if someone screwed with it to begin with), but I really doubt it.

I say avoid the thing.
