Greetings everyone,
I was wondering if anybody else has encountered multiple problems with your Metal Slug 4 MVS carts? I've found that whenever I press start during the parental advisory intro, I get really fuzzy sound 100% of the time, and visual glitches about 10% of the time.

Just to note:
I'm running my cab with a 6-slot board and a standard US Bios chip (SP-U2). Also, I thoroughly clean all my carts and cartridge slots on a Bi-Monthy basis, so a bad connection is not the problem.

I know this is the most obvious answer, but are you sure the cart isn't a bootleg? The only other thing I would have suggested is cleaning your cart but you have already done that... what about trying it in another slot? Maybe the slot you have the cart in could have problems?

A long shot but still worth checking out.

The cart is 100% legit, I purchased it direct through SNK NEOGEO USA. It does the error in all 6 of my slots.

My MS4 kit came from the Neo Store, so it should be legit. When I start my Candy cab and select MS4, there is a screen with garbled characters in blue boxes for a few seconds, and once this disappears, everything is fine. If I press start during the garbled screen, I get graphical glitches.

It only shows this screen the first time MS4 is played or the first time it cycles through the demo. After that, there is no sign of it.

I get the same garbled intro screen as you stated above. The bad thing is, even after the garbled screen goes away and the correct parental advisory intro comes it, I still get the same graphical and audio glitches when I press start then.
