I know the look the same but are diff. inside. My question is I thought if you used a scart cable it is the best pic just like rgb. I have a ps 2 rgb cable and i changed it to the spec of scart according to gamex, and it looks like crap, I mean svid looks better. If i just change around the wiring like i did it should work right. Are all scart inputs on tv 's rgb or are some composite. I was told they are.I need to know cause I bought a mutisystem tv that has scart inputs ( euro) and I want to if i am doing something wrong or do i have the wrong cable of what. Please help...........NEONUT

Some Scart sockets only take Compostire Video, you'd have to check in your TV's manual.

My old TV had one SCART RGB and one SCART composite only socket, try another socket if you have it, it should tell you in the manual.

You'd be best off getting a true RGB SCART lead from Europe and modding it to your needs - they're often custom-wired (and NOT how gamesx say!)

But, some consoles play better in S-vid - N64, for example.
