Do you think this is due to the buttons on my old style stick or just my skill?

I play Samurai Spirits II all the time I know a fair amount of moves for Genjuro and Ukyo. I cannot get past the 4th guy in SS2 though because it seems that if Im trying to pull off a certain move I have to do ther motion like 3-4 times to pull off the move. I am not sure if this is just me having bad technique or if it is the stick not being very responsive. What do you think?

The best way to test your stick is to plug it into controller port 2 (the one on the right) and hold down all four buttons (A, B, C, D). Keep them held down and then switch on your machine. This will get you into the controller testing mode. Here you can test your stick fully. A 0 indicates no signal being received, ie. the button is not being pressed. A 1 indicates that a button is being pressed. If all the buttons seem to be working properly...you may need more practice wink
