Does anyone know of any stores around New York City that would have any arcade machine parts. Stuff like push buttons and joysticks. Maybe it's just me, but every time i have something shipped to me there's always something that goes wrong. I don't mind paying more if i can get parts then and there without having it shipped.

Thanks...I may be just having a brain fart but I can't figure out what "SR" stands for in this case or which issue you're referring to. But it's nice to be recognized.

The Soul Reaver hands on. It may have been a few issues ago, I just picked it up at a newstand. Gamepro has been one magazine I've read for a good long while, along with Popular Science, Next Gen, ODCM (Before it died), and EGM. There is just something about magazines that is more satisfiying than getting info and pictures of the net, something more tangible...

What happened to Scarry Larry?

A ha! You'd think I would have figured it out from the cover image. Wish I could take credit for the SR piece but that was Jake who handled that. I thought he did a good job too. Thanks on his behalf.

Scary got married, had a beautiful daughter, and took off for NYC. He keeps in touch but he's got new priorities now! Can't blame him--he personified the mag for nine years. He got an honorable discharge.

Cool, congrats to him on that. Maybe someday he'll come back and I can play "Scarry Larry's phone maze" again. Those were fun.

I wanna say thank you for being the only magazine I know of that has not given into the market and ceased prinitng strategy guides in your issues. Almost everyone stopped once the market for them took off. It brings me back every month.
