Hi guys,

My monitor went kaput and I'd like to put in an LCD so I can stop fiddling with it. Its just a conversion so don't freak out. As I recall these Midway boards have trouble with the sync line and jrok converters. Anyone know if that cheap converter that yaton sells will work for me?

If you're talking about this one, the still image quality is great, but there's some motion artifacts, as I posted here
It has an "auto adjust" button, by the way.

My experience with MK2 and UMK3 weren't so great.

It seems they have "sloppy clocks" that really wonk up some digital displays. Artifacts, rolling, etc, etc all happened to me.

This was present with most newer arcade monitors (trisync 15/24/31, dualsync 15/24, etc), PC CRT monitors, LCDs and upscanners.

The boards worked 100% flawlessly on a 15K Wells Gardner with no problem. I also got it to work beautifully on a Samsung Syncmaster somethingorother flat CRT. No idea what model - don't have it anymore.
