I have a table next to Carlson. Going to keep my setup a little light this time. Just bringing my Neo Geo w/supergun, LCD for PS2 stuff, and my Raijin Sigma for random JAMMA action.

Carlson has requested I bring my PC Engine LT to the show. He'll probably have it on display inside one of his cases. It only plays JP Hucards, unfortunately. Friendly FYI---NOT FOR SALE!

Also, I just won Rumble Fish 2 on ebay. So, I may bring my consolized Atomiswave if it arrives before the show. (it's coming from Australia)

Looking forward to going to TMG next week. Are we going to try getting people together for a group pic again?

Jon, when are you driving over? and are you sticking around the whole weekend?

Just got back from TMG a little while ago. It was great seeing all the same familiar faces. The vendors were awesome, music was incredible, and the venue much more spacious than last time. I can't wait to go back.

Also, I'll sleep well tonight knowing I finally managed to get a win against Jon in MOTW. Can't wait to get some more bouts in soon.

Here's some pics from the show.

Sorry I couldn't make this one, but I do enjoy stories of Jon losing in MOTW and FOTNS !

What a fun looking event! Do they have anything like this on the west coast?

Good showing this year, plenty of good vendors, too bad I didn't have that much money to spend because of your 03 on ebay zenimus. Though I did get a get Phantasy Star 2-4 complete, a loose geny Art of Fighting (don't know why either), Policenauts and its pilot disk for PC-engine cd, a couple of saturn imports and Metal Gear MSX. Wanted to leave before the craziness of AVGN showing up, saw him the last the Chuck got him to TMG.

Looks like it was a lot of fun --thanks for the pics, I'd love to see more :)

I loved that old-school Game Boy display :D

anyone got to say hello to the AVGN? =O

Yeah, I got to speak with James. Didn't have him sign an autograph BUT, I did give him my complete copy of Lord of the Rings for SNES. The game is horrible and I suggested he review it. Basically said that he wouldn't make any promises but, he did accept the game.

As far as me losing at Garou, I believe my record was something like 40 wins 5 losses...only one was to Deadpixels: our final match. Speaking of Garou, major thanks to jt4mtb for showing me how to follow up the P Shine Knuckle with a Rising Tackle. VERY difficult technique that I'm not sure I'll use against actual opponents because of how precise you have to input the commands. Probably just stick with linking the 360 command throw into the Raging Storm as my "advanced" techinque I can use on actual human players.

As far as what I ended up buying, it was mostly Game Boy stuff. The best thing was a complete copy of Flinstones: King Rock Tresure Island for which there are only 4 known copies (that are COMPLETE).

Also enjoyed this convention. It was a lot of fun, but need to get bigger! Lots of old games to buy.
