Memory Card Equivalent?

I heard I could use some sort of PC card for a Neo memory card.
Is this true? If so, what is it called and where can I find it? help

i know it's some pcmcia ram card (type I i believe) but as far as what kind? i don't know.

I think it was some kind of flash mem card for a PocketPC or laptop..if you use the search feature up at the top and search for those terms, you should be able to find some threads on it

So it's a PCMCIA Type II card, not over 8 megs?

Hmmm I remember hearing about this, I believe the official card is 2k so anything with a few megs is going to be able to store every neo game you could ever own...

I was looking into getting a pcmcia card and I noticed you could get them with or with out a 2Kb attribute.

no no no guys. First of all Flash cards don't work, don't waste a penny on flash cards.

The memory card has to be SRAM, if it isn't, it won't work, period. The 2k attribute won't really do anything, it is not needed, and usually is more, so just go for standard SRAM. Any size seems to work, but it is formated by the Neo Geo... I don't know what size it formats down to, I never checked... it may be formating a 8MEG card to 12k, I don't know

Anyway, for the record... PCMCIA SRAM card will do the trick!
