MVS Game Problems HELP

I have a Kizuna Encounter MVS game that i cant get to load correctly.

Ive tried cleaning it w/ alcohol and a ink eraser. Nothing has worked.

Here are the symptoms:

Vertical Lines

When special moves are made the game picutre gets blocky look

Any help would be appreciated

When cleaning it with the alchohol, are you rubbing it off with a Q-tip or similar item? If not I'd try that...

Yup

Tried cleaning with a q-tip.
Im wondering if the game contacts are shot completely.

if cleaning fails, open up the cart and check the soldering of the chips. might have to re-solder a pin.

Thanx for the tip. I opened earlier to clean it...but i didnt look very close.

I found some heat damage on one of the female transistor/resistors.
