I plan on going to Kinko's to print out some shockbox inserts.. Some of the stuff says how to isolate the three parts.. But they're already seperate files... For the 3-piece inserts, are they cut into 3 pieces, or merged into one in photoshop? How about the 5 piece one? (Shock Troopers) If I bring the images unmerged in, will they know what to do?

Most of the files are compressed into .rar format. You need to decompress and merge the files into one big file. Use <a href="http://www.rarsoft.com" target="_blank">WinRAR</a> to join them.

If the final files are in parts, like front, back, and spine you will need to use a graphics program like Photoshop to join them. The Kinkos people might be able to help you with that part, but I'm sure they will charge you for it.

I seriously doubt the average Kinkos person could help you unRAR a file. Hope that helps.

Hey Briggs--thanks again for the Aof Cart, got it fine.. (sent you an email to let you know too..)
Anyway,
For instance, Andy's Puzzle Bobble insert, I downloaded it, UnRAR'ed it, and now it unrars as one piece. Now, do I have them print it out as one piece and cut out the one big piece? Or do I have to break it up?
Also, I don't have any real photo editting software on my PC, but when I opened up the inserts in MS paint, they look pretty huge. When I get these printed out, do I need to specify dimensions to the Kinko's people? I know that JHendrix's info page says dimensions, are these already in the file, or do I have to tell them to input those dimensions?
Sorry.. I'm kinda new to this. :(

it seems like you're afraid to use a graphics program to edit these inserts, so just cut them after they're printed into three separate pieces.

You should print them as one big piece, and cut it out as one piece.

If you open these files in MS paint, they will open at 72dpi which is your screen resolution. That will make them look huge. When you go to print them out, they will print at 300dpi which is the printers resolution, and it will make them the right size. I know it's confusing, but trust me it will work. You should let the Kinkos folks know that the images should be 300dpi and the height is about 9.5" The files are set up that way, but just have them confirm that it's correct before they hit the print button.
