I have a japanese 21-pin rgb cable, and much to my suprise, I don't think any US rgb monitors will work with it. What is the easiest way to go about getting a japanese tv with an rgb input?

Also, If this does not work, can I use an 8-pin din connector to connect my geo to an american rgb monitor?

I have seen some RGB screen in the arcadia magazine ads. The store that sell them have websites so you still can try with them

You don't really need a Japanese TV. Just get a TV with some kind of RGB input and solder an adapter. Female SCART plug on one end and whatever goes into your TV at the other end. Assuming it's RGB compatible.

Alot of Rgb monitors seem to have an 8-pin din input for rgb, for example, I'm pretty sure the commodore 1084 monitor has this type of input. Could I just run an 8-pin din cable from the Neo-Geo to the monitor? Or could I just mod my 21-pin jap rgb cable to work with whatever rgb monitor i get? I've seen pin readouts all over the internet, so don't think it would be that hard. Although I've heard horror stories about people who've messed up the mod and their monitor dies.
