Ok, I installed a pause switch so I wouldn't have to open my cab and fumble around trying to locate the pause jumper (I always ended up hitting the free play one as well ), BUT I still have to open my cab up sometimes to adjust the volume, and adjusting it is a big pain as well since it's so damn touchy. :p

So how would you mod a MVS board/cab to have an external volume control?

Well, the volume regulator on the board is a pot of some kind, dunno exactly... but I think you can get one and install it somewhere in the cab, e.g. under the control panel and then you run the wires to the soldering points on the board: same as the pause switch, methinks...

try asking briggs at www.hardmvs.com Im pretty sure he could steer you in the right direction . I am actually getting ready to run a 35watt q-sound video game amp in between my board and speakers so I can get that solid punch out of them. but I will still use the actual volume slider on the board since its right behind the door on my cab
