I'm referring to the adapter that converts an MVS for use in a JAMMA wired cabinet. Can someone please tell me the value (or the colours) of the two resistors used to attenuate the audio before it gets combined into a single channel.

I don't believe combining them without resistors would result in clipping but better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks

Hard to see, looks like White, Orange, Gold, Gold which would make it 9.3ohms?

Seems these are used as a dummy load for the unused channel rather than to attenuate the signal then.

Thanks

If you are running a jamma board on an mvs harness just connect the mono speaker between pins L &10. No need for any resistors.

http://www.hardmvs.com/manuals/Jamma2NeoGeo4SlotPinout.pdf

You only need to add the select up and down pins d & 26 for a multi slot.
s 15 & t 16 for the coin slots and the audio is straight forward.

Yeah I realise that mate, what I was wanting to do was combine the two stereo outputs into mono before they reached the speakers.

I think I have decided to just go for the jammaboards adapter.. Anyone got one for sale by any chance?
