And is it the same manufacturer for all Neo Candy models?

Most Japanese based Machines use either Nanao or Sanwa monitors.

Very hard to get hold off outside of Japan.

Thaks but yours remains an unverified assumption...

It's full of people with a Candy out there: c'mon, just answer my query!

Erm, that isn't an assumption, it is a FACT!
It is either Nanao or Sanwa, probably Nanao.

It won't be Hantarex or Wells Gardner or Kortex.

Oh, I beg forgiveness... ;) I thought you were making an assumption because you did not state you had a Candy yourself...

BTW, how do you reckon those Jap monitors in comparison with Hantarex, WG and all the others we are familiar with over here?

Jack of www.arcade-infinity.com emailed me that the monitors are Hitachi (probably he was referring to Super Neo 29 models).

People are getting confused here, Hitachi and Toshiba are the CRT tubes, the monitor chassis are what determines the monitor (which are Nanao).

Actually Nanao monitors are fair better than Wells Gardner and Hanatarex, plus they are multi-sync! :)

Infact all of my machines are only fitted with Nanao now, although I do have one NOS Dual Freq Polo2 Hantarex..

Thanks for the info.

AFAIK, Super Neo 29 are low/mid res only and that's not what I call multisync... You can't play Naomi games with that... :(

And BTW some Hantarex monitors are indeed multisync (15khz -> 38khz)...
