This and OoT 3D are the reasons I'm actually thinking about getting a 3DS. Mercs is fun as hell in RE4 (never really got into it on RE5 but its basically the same thing).
I wonder if the first person aiming is required or if you can still use traditional RE4-style over the shoulder aiming.

I'm excited about these as well. I thought they were launch titles at first. It looks like we have a long wait ahead of us. The PSP2 announcements might derail me somewhat.
I'm playing through RE5 now for the first time. Getting ready for some portable RE! The last portable RE I played was Deadly Silence. Soon after I picked up Director's Cut for PSP, it was much more playable.

Most impressive for a handheld if you ask me. Very nice and detailed graphics and surely a fun game if you are into the series.
I am looking forward to the console, but the price of 250€ here in Europe will most likely keep me from being a day one owner.

I was and still am on the fence about this game. I always enjoyed Mercenaries kind of on the basis that it's a reward for making my way thorugh the full game. Never put in too much time afterwards, but if the reviews come out that there is plenty of content, I think I'll go for it.

Has four player multiplayer been confirmed yet for this? Imagine if it had leveling up and online play. It could be a Resident Evil Monster Hunter type of game, which might be amazing.
If it's only single player and only time attack I'll probably pass. Seems like Capcom wouldn't drop the ball on it though, it's a major title.
