No mod required matey, its RGB out of the box.

Get a modded SCART lead and you'll be laughing.

kbk77 told me the following about the RGB-mod. But I didn´t try it yet:

It's a little complicated but not too bad if you have decent soldiering skills. First, find the spec sheet for the sony CXA chip, then trace back the R,G and B "in" from the chip (on the circuit board) to three 680k resistors, tap the signal before these. Then you have to cut the original RGB signal that comes from the "RGB out" on the CXA, before it reaches the AV port. There are 4 "jumper" wires right before the AV port that you can simply desoldier, then connect the pure RGB signal in their place (the 4th is for sync). If you need to find out what trace carries what signal, just trace it from the CXA, which you have the schematic for. For the sync just tap it by soldiering a wire to the "sync in" leg on the CXA, then connect it to that 4th jumper wire. Hope this can help, I have no digital camera so I can't take a picture.
