Hi, maybe someone overhere can help me, I recently bought a stv board with carts, blue and orange carts. But only a few works, if I put the other carts in it displays a message that it is not for use in this country! Is there a way to play imports on the stv board?

By default there isn't.

The ST-V is not like the MVS in the fact that the games work on all region boards.

Here is a compatibility list: <a href="http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ajarnold2/STV.xls" target="_blank">ST-V spreadsheet</a>

The dual bios column is the one you want to look at. basically if it says YES it will play in both US or Jap mode...No will only play in one of the other.

Now don't dispair...you can get a dual bios that will allow you to switch the board from US to Jap via a toggle. You can get one <a href="http://www.dreamweaveramuse.com" target="_blank">here</a>

Incidently the blue carts mean they are 1st party Sega releases and the Orange ones mean they are 3rd party...nothing more.
