8-12slot MVS cab...

I was just wondering how hard it would be to run two 4 or 6 lot boards in serial off a MVS cab? I don't have much hands on tweak exp, but seems like a simple concept. If it was really easy I might mount a few 4-slots on the sides of my cab. (super easy game access. Just curious. On your mark, get set, tech!!!

thanks

If you put and extra shelf in your cab and purchased a couple dual jamma harnesses you could probably fit 3 6-slots in a cab. Sounds like a heavy duty project to me.

Why not go for broke and use a multi-jamma setup by Clay Cowgill. It can support up to 8 games. Imagine 8 six slot... 48 games in 1 cabinet. That would be quite a task though to fit all those 6 slots into a single cabinet.

Clay has said that his setup will work with multi slot MVS boards - but don't forget the extra power supplies.

I used to have a multi-jamma, so I know all about the extra power supply. Clay suggested a 300 watt power supply for ever 4 games.

So, 8 games = 600 watts
monitor = 250 watts
You're looking at around 850 watts there in my Capcom Impress. That was what I was running when I had my setup. My electricity bill was pretty high, so now it's back to just 1 game.
