Will it work if I add the second set of dipswitches to an MVS board?

I was just curious, since there is a space for dip-switch 2 on my motherboard, would it actually work if I installed it? I mean, since the debug bios utilizes the dip-switch2, why shouldn't the actual hardware? Has anybody done this before, and are there any MVS boards that come stock with both Dip-switches installed?

It's funny, I thought way more people would be interested in having the additional dipswitches that their MVS boards have a spot for.

In other words, "bump".

Just try it and see what happens. Maybe you're blazing a new trail. The worst that will happen (assuming you don't botch the job) is you'll have a usless set of dips.

you could simply bridge the connections with a bit of wire to try them out rather than installing dips right away.

DIP 8 is connected to Jamma pin 11 of solder side, i.e. test. DIP 1-7 all go to the two LS257's near the Zilog and the Yamaha so they'll have to do with sound (I haven't tried what they do though).
