@Raz -- ROTD investigation

Hey Raz..

I don't know what you've looked at for the 1-slot problem with ROTD yet.. but I've been working on it a bit.

Some anomalies that might help you in your investigation. (hopefully others will toss in observations.)

I don't get the Neo SplashScreen on bootup. I'll get a green screen.

The M1 Rom problem may be addressing for the unit. I'm thinking this may have to do with different addressing/encryption on the Cart.

Since it happens on character selection and other "triggers" in the game, it leads me to believe it's event based. On Switching maybe?

It will only go into the game one in three-four times. Why is it picking out certain times to work and others not?


I dunno.. let me know how far you have gotten. (and others)

Maybe we'll all solve the mystery.

I think that may be normal, its a progear game and the logo shouldent show on boot.

Agreed, I feel its going to be related to bank swapping for sure. ROTD is the only neogeo game that uses all banks.

I fix I did worked for one person and not for another.... thats some sort of progress at least.

Hey Vanilla, could you try to check the CRC on the ROTD cart with unibios 1.1? I got some weird results and I guess Raz will want to know if the same happens to you. Check the CRC thread.

Don't have one.. I'm doing this just with the MV-1 board and my tech knowledge.
