Just a question on what members use to clean the smudges and finger prints off carts? Easy way would be to wipe it off with a clean towel, but sometimes even that leaves smudge marks. Is there a special solution people use?? Just wondering.

Wipe down your carts with a dry *soft* cotton cloth. The material will not leave any scratches on the plastic. I would avoid wiping the cart sticker as that would most likely scratch easy. Just be persistant with the heavy smudges and they should come right off.

there's also special plastic cleaning fluids, or even a bathroom or kitchen cleaner (not the hard stuff) will work.

I just use a moistened (water) clean towel and dry it off afterwards,
making sure its not too wet and doesn't get into the carts.

I've used rubbing alcohol one time, but I felt like it was somehow
removing the shiny finish so I stopped that.

To avoid all this, you could always just be sure to handle the carts by
the sides when removing/inserting them from cases or the console.

I suggest not using cleaning fluids or rubbing alcohol. I have a horror story that involves cleaning a cart casing with rubbing alcohol...

Dirty plastic + Rubbing alcohol = oh_no

I melt mine in a furnace, burning away all impurities. I then pour the remaining material into a square mold leaving me with nothing but a pure block of Neo-Geo.

*seriously though*
An old t-shirt works wonders.
