How many times do you need try to insert your Carts before it works...? (AES)

I am just wondering if its just me or...??

My friend just bought a 2nd hand neo and well, usually my sets will take a couple of tries to work. sometimes it don't because the mod is not switch correctly. Like RBFF and Samsho2 will keep resetting if the language mod is on.

But his set will take a few times to try. Like 5 times usually to get any games to work..

sometimes it work but the graphics get jagged and the sound is distorted.

The sometimes, carts like Art of Fighting 2 just dun work. if it does, there is no sound.

What do you suggest????

It's normal on boards that aren't making a good connection. Either the contacts in the system are dirty or the games need a good cleaning. Or... the slots are loose.

The only reason you see garbled graphics is because the game isn't seated properly... Something isn't making a good connection. I would clean out the slot and the games with contact cleaner... you may be amazed at the results!

Mine work on the first try, mostly every time. I have had to pull the game out and put it back in maybe twice since I got mine. Oh, and it was used from some guy in Hawaii for $160.

Maybe it's because I try and make sure I put it in smoothly and securely everytime, the first time...

I don't know...but, I think it's pretty common to have the game not work every once in a while..

with no sound or lines across the screen...

Most of my games will work on first try.

But his is funny.... hehehehe...
