supergun blemishes....

well, this may not exactly be a tech question, but I figured this would be the best place to ask. I am making a supergun and want it to look really nice.

problem is, I had to do some real doctoring of the case, and kinda ghetto style at that. Because of the lack of the right tools, there are small parts of the holes in the case showing around the jamma harness and the controller ports.

They aren't big, and the case is plastic and grey. I am looking for some type of rubber stripping or something that would be easy to cut nice and straight and use to glue around the harness and the controller ports so you couldn't see the wholes...

I would really only need like 1/4 inch tops in width, and thickness doesn't matter..but preferably thin and black or white...

Like some type of rubber trimming for windows or something that I could use?

anyone ever have to do any blemish doctoring on something like this? Would this be a good idea or is there another solution?

any suggestions of anything that could help me in this situation?

thanks!

and sorry for the non-tech question, but it is for my supergun :D

something like that, but the controllers are already mounted and everything is almost done...

so I kinda screwed up on that part, but it's my first time doing this, so I think it's pretty good...

or will be if it works when I am done,lol...

So I am looking for something a bit smaller that doesn't even have to be for something like this, that I could cut to make a boarder around the harness and the ports, and then glue them on.

thanks for the link!!!

maybe something like this (pic below), if it was solid, so no opening showed..
