This would be easy to figure out if I had one, but I don't, and I need the information. So who can help me out?

Thanks.

I am going by a diagram that came with the supernova..

the diagram says "Controller Port"

and the 1 is on the top left corner of the port on the picture and goes across to 8, then stops and starts from the bottom left and goes over from the right from 9 to 15....basically the regular 15 pin plug and everything to the right on the picture is left blank.

I don't know if this is looking at the controller port or looking at the back of the plug, but it says "Controller Port" above the pic. So, your guess is as good as mine on that part.

as for the pins..

1: UP
2: down
3: left
4: right
5: push 1
6: push 2
7: push 3
8: push 4

9: push 5
10: push 6
11: Ground
12: start
13: coin
14: +5v or NC
15: NC

It looks just like the neo controller port or 15 pin, with 8 across the top and 7 across the bottom..

If I was to take a guess, I would say I am looking at a picture of the front of the controller port...but that's just my guess!!!!

hope this helps! :)

Thanks a lot.

Hmm... +5V? Does anyone know what that is used for?

I believe when you order a MAS controller you can get HAPP Perfect 360 joysticks which require +5v because they are optical.

Check this .PDF out:

<a href="http://www.happcontrols.com/images/pdf/ins-0057.pdf" target="_blank">http://www.happcontrols.com/images/pdf/ins-0057.pdf</a>

Edit: Quoted from Mas System's site:

Choice of the Standard Ultimate (Hard or Soft Spring)/Competition (Medium Spring) or the Optical Perfect 360 Joystick (additional cost is required, the Perfect 360 is an all Optical device using only Infrared Emitting Diodes, instead of mechanical micro-switches to detect the Joystick movements)

It's also handy if you want to add an autofire switch, light-up buttons, or some other powered device to your controller. Neo home systems have a +5v pin on the controller port too.
